What is Arcadia Dolls?
Arcadia Dolls is a website owned by two Spanish sisters who collect ball-jointed dolls. Our website includes an online shop where you can buy clothes and accessories for your dolls. All our items are handmade.
Do you sell dolls at Arcadia Dolls?
No we don't. At Arcadia Dolls we just sell clothes and accessories for dolls, but not dolls or doll parts. We don't sell eyes or wigs either. In the future we would like to sell shoes, wigs and even dolls, but right now we focus on doll clothes.
Do you have an offline store?
Not at this moment. Right now, Arcadia Dolls sells through its website, eBay auctions, BBSDreams and Den of Angels forums. We also take part in some conventions across Spain.
How can I purchase your items?
To place an order, just add the items you want to buy to the shopping cart. Registration is not required to shop with us, but is optional if you wish to make repeat purchases quickly and easily.
How can I pay my order?
We accept Paypal as our main payment method. Our Paypal account is: arcadia@arcadiadolls.com. We also accept wire transfer for customers within Spain. Please notice that if payment is not received within 5 days after placing a new order, this order will be automatically cancelled.
How much are the shipping costs?
That depends on the destination country and the parcel weight. We send all our orders through Correos registered mail. We try to send small packages in order to mantain a low shipping cost, but we use cardboard boxes or padded envelopes to protect items from damage. We can send orders through a private courier company if our customers request it, but that means higher shipping costs. You'll se the shipping costs on the shopping cart page each time you add items to it (only if you're already registered).
How long will it take my order to arrive?
It depends on the destination country. Orders inside Spain takes about 3 working days to arrive, outside Spain it takes between 5 and 10 days.
How long does it take you to finish my order?
Out items are handmade and are produced on demand, considering that most of the times they are "custom made". Because of that, and depending on the number of orders we receive, it takes about 3-8 weeks to finish an order from the moment payment is confirmed. Please understand that two orders that were placed and paid in the same day won't necessarily be dispatched at the same time. The finishing and dispatching date will depend on many factors. As a general rule, a big order will take longer to be dispatched than a small one. Besides that, when we have stock for an item, we are able to dispatch it inmediately, while highly customized items (like Atelier gowns) will take longer to be ready.
Do you accept layaway?
We usually ask for complete payment of orders. Anyway, if your order total reaches 500 euros or more, we accept layaway in two parts: first half when placing your order and second half when your order is finished. Please notice that orders won't be send until full payment is received.
Your prices are fixed in euros. How can I pay if I have a different currency?
That's quite easy! You just have to choose a currency from the pull-down menu on the top left of the site. If you're paying by wire-transfer, drop us a note and we'll help you with the currency conversion.
May I order an outfit that's not for sale on your website?
No, you can only order outfits from our online shop catalog, in any fabric color available and any doll size. To date we'd been taking occasional commissions, but we won't be taking commissions in the future. We deeply regret this announcement, but special commissions took us too much time. From now on we'll make periodic polls, so you'll be able to tell us what you would like to see in future collections. This way we'll try to meet all your needs and suggestions.
My doll has a different size from the available sizes described on the item I want to purchase. Could you make the outfit for my doll's size?
Don't worry, we'll probably be able to do it. If you send us the measurements for your doll, we can sew for it. Nevertheless, we can't guarrantee the clothes will fit perfectly on your doll when we're working with new measurements.
